good gindirty bathroombizarre policy
a very good gin as a welcome drink in my room met my expectations.
I stayed for a work event. Cleanliness was a major issue. The bathroom had hairs and a hairclip from previous guests. Housekeeping tidied but did not remove the dirt. This felt unacceptable for a five-star hotel. also, the incidentals policy seemed bizarre. A ÂŁ100 security deposit was required as i had no physical card. I was told i would need to pay as i go for additional food or drinks.

the room was huge. i found a ginormous bed and a gorgeous view overlooking the harbor. the bathroom was lovely and spacious too.
i tried to book one of the restaurants for dinner for 10 people, but i was told there were no spaces. i managed to get a table on the terrace after complaining. the weather turned cold, so i couldn't use it.

the room decor featured beautiful colors. a lovely, adequately sized balcony offered space to relax. the toiletries smelled divine, and the hotel provided ample tea bags and milk upon request. i found the bed quite comfortable and the staff always helpful and friendly.
The lack of a shuttle service to the cruise port was inconvenient. I was quoted one price and charged another for a taxi. it was an unexpected expense and detracted from the overall experience.
