good gindirty bathroombizarre policy
a very good gin as a welcome drink in my room met my expectations.
I stayed for a work event. Cleanliness was a major issue. The bathroom had hairs and a hairclip from previous guests. Housekeeping tidied but did not remove the dirt. This felt unacceptable for a five-star hotel. also, the incidentals policy seemed bizarre. A £100 security deposit was required as i had no physical card. I was told i would need to pay as i go for additional food or drinks.

the room was huge. i found a ginormous bed and a gorgeous view overlooking the harbor. the bathroom was lovely and spacious too.
i tried to book one of the restaurants for dinner for 10 people, but i was told there were no spaces. i managed to get a table on the terrace after complaining. the weather turned cold, so i couldn't use it.

the room decor featured beautiful colors. a lovely, adequately sized balcony offered space to relax. the toiletries smelled divine, and the hotel provided ample tea bags and milk upon request. i found the bed quite comfortable and the staff always helpful and friendly.
The lack of a shuttle service to the cruise port was inconvenient. I was quoted one price and charged another for a taxi. it was an unexpected expense and detracted from the overall experience.

The room was surprisingly spacious and offered lots of storage space. it also had excellent amenities. the room was clean, tidy, and very well-kept. It provided a restful atmosphere.

The breakfast service was really good. The breakfast menu had great options. the restaurant staff were very affable and helpful, especially during breakfast service. every staff member, from the front desk to breakfast, showed a willingness to assist.
